Okay... well my bike broke... or at least the carbs did... the little cover piece on my upper float cover busted off... The tube that comes up from the body into the float cover broke off at the float cover.  does anyone know what damage that could do... My bike won't start and it leaks fuel...

I was just in my carbs this morning, and I have no idea what you're talking about.  Got a camera?

yeah...seriously...pics.

However, if the carburetor bodies are actually broken, the only fix is replacement...which will cost anywhere between nothing and partial ownership of your soul.

Upper float cover? Maybe you are talking about black plastic covers that hold needles and diaphragm? Well they are on the upside of the carbs.

+1 on replacement, unless you are talented enough to repair carb damage  :dunno_white:

I doubt somebody will sell used carbs in small pieces. In your place i would find out what OEM replacement parts cost and try to compare with some used carbs (if you can find any). Maybe you can find used carbs cheap, replace broken parts and have some spares too.
