I just bought a new GS500F and am having a blast on it.  It is my first bike and am loving it.


I have one problem tho.  I bought a alarm for the bike.  A HJC-2002 alarm, and am having a hard time finding out what the two blue wires from the alarm connect to.  The directions are kinda wierd.  Ive searched the forum and it sounds like some people have this alarm installed on their bike.  Can anyone tell me what to connect them to and the colors of the wires?  (Pic's would be AWESOME)

I just snagged the wiring diagram from one of the sites. The blue wires interrupt power to the starter relay.

You can do this a couple ways:

• Break into the wiring going to the starter relay coil, near the relay
• Break into the wiring turning the bike on from the key switch
• Break into the wiring coming from the start button on the handlebar

Do you have the Quick Start option (as shown on the wiring diagram)?

Can you tell me where you have the alarm mounted on the bike and how you attached it. I have been trying to find the dimensions for this alarm system but have not been able to locate them anywhere yet. If you know the dimensions of the unit that would be great also.
