I'd assume right around 190lbs...it's basically four 650cc V-Twins.

But better ... only 1 transmission and wheel ... less running losses.
Cool.

Hmmm Seems to me that a Rightly Tuned 4 Cylinder Hayabusa can reach over 300HP.I've seen Several that was Pushing 500HP.Just seems to me that that Bigger Crank and 4 Extra Cylinders is just Holding the Other 4 Back. :icon_confused:

The crank's the same size.  It's a twin...there's two cylinders on every journel.

Plus, I don't know why you think a 4cylinder busa would be able to make 300hp but an 8 cylinder busa wouldn't.  Can you explain that a bit more?

After looking at the picture of the motor i realize the crank is Approximately the same size(2 rods Per journal but the Stock Journal would be too Narrow to hold 2 Rods with the same Thickness as a Stock Rod). What I am Trying to say is that the Hayabusa can easily be Made to make over 400HP Relatively Easy with a Few Modifications without Having to add the Weight of 4 More Cylinders. If Someone is Trying to get 400HP out of making a High Dollar Concoction such as that why not spend a Few Less Dollars on 4 Cylinders and get a little More than what they are trying to Accomplish. The Stock Busa Makes 175HP (I think that is US Spec) at 9800 RPM (175HPx2=350HP).which they are Doing Pretty good with the 372 HP they are Getting from the 8 Cylinders.I'm Not Knocking it or Anything I think it's Cool but I just figure that the Same thing Could be Done (Maybe not as Reliable Maybe More Reliable depending on What Kind of Money is Dumped into it) with a Modified 4 Cylinder.I know I'm Comparing Apples to Oranges they Have a Need for something Besides a Stock 4 Cylinder Busa motor. Not saying that a 8 cylinder Busa wouldn't be able to do it at all. :thumb:Just saying it could be done for the Same or Cheaper  with a Turbo,Crank work ETC. on a stock Motor.

Like I say this is Comparing Apples to Oranges.I hope I make Sense it's 3:16 AM and My eyes arestarting to get Bloodshot.

The only way you're going to get 400hp out of a stock GSX1300R is by throwing boost at it.  Boost has lag.

THis motor weighs probably 60lbs more and can produce 400hp all-motor.  All-motor motors don't "lag".  Plus, boostedbusas have like no torque in comparison with their power output.  This thing will be able to put down right around 250 ft/lbs at the crank if they didn't do any internal tweaking.
