I am trying to get a manual for my 2005 GS500, and I would rather not get a factory manual because of the high price and the lack of detail.  I want to do a clutch replacement on my bike.  I need your opinions....would the clymer manual be sufficant, or did alot change with these models from 2003 to 2005?

Thanks in advance

That manual should work as there have only been a few things changed in the history of the little GS.

It's not 1989-2002, I don't care what it says on the cover.  It's 1989-2000.  It has nothing about the new carburetors.

Get a Haynes manual.  From what I've seen, it's better overall.

Thats true, I think Haynes does an awesome job and I prefer it over anythign else with my Jeep.

I was surfing the web and I found some Fiches of crosscut sections of this bike along with all the part numbers and prices.  I thought Id share it if anyone was intrested:

:icon_razz: that was a nice find, and it was from the dealer where I bought my bike....
