Hey guys this is my first post on the club, I just bought a BLUE 1997 Suzuki GS500E from someone who lived in Rigby Idaho he had bought it about a year ago from someone living in Oklahoma.

This is my second bike, my first was a 1976 Honda CB400F and the difference in handling and the confidence in turns this bike inspires is amazing.
The bike came equipped with the following mods (that I know of)
Vance and Hines exhaust
K&N performance intake
Dynojet Carb Jetted for altitude
Custom carbon fiber  rear blinkers
Sproket has been switched out

She currently has 21k miles on the clock
I would love to know who's bike this used to be and let her know that she is in good hands!
Her maiden voyage was yesterday I did a 150 mile trip through the South East Idaho Valley I included some pictures,

Idaho Falls Alleyways

Old AM Radio Station

Wind farm above Idaho Falls

up to the mountains, road was dry right up to the snowline.

No Introduction would be complete without a face shot!

Alphamazing

Looks like it has Srinath bars too.

Probably one of the old members. The stickers, as far as I know, weren't in production for quite a while.

Searching would probably be pretty difficult, as those are some common mods.

Wrecent is right on -- blue is a cool color.  (Have a Metalic Abyss Blue one myself.)  Nice shape for al 10 year-old.

I like the head shot -- good choice for a White helmet -- very visible.  Recently acquired one for myself.   :thumb:

Wow, that bike looks to be in very good shape!  Congrats, enjoy, and welcome.  I'm still pretty new here to, and I just posted a comment the other day on how well I thought my GS handled compared to all the other old bikes I used to ride.... specifically an 80's Yamaha Special II.

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Mark Wahlberg was Marky Mark, way cooler than NKOTB, duh!

Ever see Band of Brothers? Donnie Wahlberg did some really nice work in his scene with the sergeant. I like Mark as an actor too... Boogie Nights... word.
