Once again yesterday I managed to Pandy* my bike. I don't know how it happened, but instead of dropping right over I managed to rest it on the right case guard, so all I ended up with was some chipped paint on the case guards. So I can say now that the case guards are the best mod I've ever done to the bike.

* To Pandy a bike is the act of laying a bike on it's side when at a standstill or manouvering it.

That's called PARKING, dammit!  :flipoff:

I'm glad there wasn't much damage. When I pandy mine, I always seem to manage to break something.   :bs:

Hmph. I think to pandy a bike should be the act of adding caseguards/framesliders, cuz that's the very first thing I do to ALL of my bikes.  :icon_lol:

Oh...and bubba? :P :P :P :P :P

The Antibody

HAHA,

I pandied my bike once years ago. I was turning around on a side street which happened to be a pretty steep grade.

Stop...  Turn... Pandy!

I only scratched the case guard, all the paint was still there.
The wind pandied my bike once too. I heard it then cried. That one chiped my throttle.  :icon_confused:

    Y'all can just BYTE me!! :flipoff:

The best I've done...well, there are actually two....

The first was my first "long" ride after taking the MSF and practicing in parking lots and on quiet streets. I was going out with a REAL biker, and after our LOOOOONG ride (it must have last 20 minutes...I was EXHAUSTED! ), I pulled back into the driveway, hopped off my bike....and....forgot to put my kickstand down.....tiiiimmmmmberrrrr!!  :cookoo:

The other best time was *trying* to pull out of our driveway. It has a (to me) huge dip (other than myself :P). With this dip, you must either stop BEFORE it or make sure you're going fast enough that you can make it over and stop AFTER it....one must never, NEVER stop in the MIDDLE of it...especially when one is SHORT! So....can you guess what I did?  :icon_lol:  No ground under feet = tiiiimmmmmberrrrr!! This episode was caught on camera (surveillance system), and guess who played it over...and over...and over....

Now....I know y'all realize that these are just the highlights......there are many, MANY more pandy moments.  :flipoff:

Hmmm Never had a pandy moment.
The bikes to light  even loaded with supplies and on a steep hill... ok, I came close (and staled it) but no pandy.

One time I hoped on (left the kick stand down) and started rolling it backwards down the drive way (kinda steep). My foot got caught between the kickstand post (that thing that sticks out so you can put it down) and the ground. So all that momentum (bike + my weight) went strait into my big toe. I thought for sure I broke it, but nada. I love being this age. Tough as nails and heal up quick!!

Edit: there may have been a time she went "pandy" on the lawnmower  8). we wont talk about that.

I've had about 5 Pandys, 2 since putting my case guards on.

I've had the bike 7 years & the last 4 Pandys were in the last 18 months  :icon_confused:. I guess I'm just getting clumsy in my old age.

all you darn pandamizers jinxed me, I almost dropeed her today ALMOST. I was coming home from the bank and when turning into my driveway you have to go up hill a little. When i turn into my driveway i have to open the garage door first so i usually stop before i hit the hill open the door then proceed. so today i guess i turned a bit to late so i tired to full turn her to the right and i the process i must have slammed on the front brake  and timber she went but my right hand was still holding the bars so i stoped it from falling and forced her back up with one hand but then again my right hand is stronger than my left ;) so that was it. :flipoff: jinxers
