Yes...but....

The stem will need to be modified or possibly swapped. Some have suggested other methods but you will not have the lock capability.

Bearings need to be changed. Steering stop has to be modified.

You will also need: wheel, fender, axle, calipers, master cylinder, clip-ons.

I have done this, as well as others.

Oh yeah....I forgot...

You will need different headlight mounts and fabricate a new way to mount the gauges.

There probably is something else but nothing major.

Thanks!  I knew there would have to be some modifications made and that is ok by me.  My front forks need to be rebuilt, so I am looking at just upgrading.  Are there any other forks that you would recommend looking for?

The easiest swap is the 89-97 Kat 600/750. You will have the same issues as I stated above, as with any different front end. But it uses the same wheel. I left out needing the rotors. The stem is longer but it can be swapped, with some work. I have a write-up in the FAQ doing hte swap using a spacer. I have started a write-up on doing the stem swap but have not finished it. I swapped the stem in my 97 build.
