The last AFM races will be at Sears Point (Infineon Raceway) on OCT. 4/5.
On Saturday the 4th we practice in the morning and run a 4 hr endurance race in the afternoon.
I won't be running the endurance race.
On Sunday the 5th we will have the full schedule of races.
There are 13 races with multiple classes running in some races.
I will be running in 450 superbike and 500 twins.
I will have my racebike there with the GSXR 500 motor.
I've had problems with the rings seating and the bike smoking, but hopefully it will be solved by then. I will have my 89 street bike setup as a backup ride. So I will race no matter what.
Gate fees are only $10.00
I would really like to see the bay area GS riders show up.
Just look for number 23 in the pits. You can park with me and hang out. It's a great experience.
Much more open and friendly than the pro races and cheaper.
Pratice starts at 8:00 am
Races start at 10:00 am with 4 races before lunch break and the rest in the afternoon.
I don't know when my races are yet, so show up early and see how the AFM works!

Sounds great, thanks for the invite.  I might be out of town that weekend, but if not I'll see you there.  Good luck in the races.

Augh! This is what I've been waiting for and my anniverssary falls on the 2nd, so the wifey and I will be busy, I mean, out of town.  Grrr! :x Goshdarn marriages. Just kidding. I just wish I could be there. Good luck, Bob, as fast as you are, man, you should have nooooo problems. I will pay attention to the AFM raceschedule online, to make dates at the races.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

I am planning to make it on Sunday, but not promising.  Hope to see the new ride too!
