After owning this POS for 3 months, I was finally able to take it for a spin around the block.  It's still not quite roadworthy yet (needs new chain, tires, battery) but it was nice to finally actually ride it.

It did feel a little down on power though.  Whould a really narly chain cause that?  My 200cc twosmoke vespa gives me more of a kick in the pants, though that's geared really low.

Did you rev it? They don't hit the powerband until 5.5K, and it runs hard until about 9-9.5K

I have no tach, that could very well be it though.  Lots of kids running around in my neighborhood so I didn't want to go all crazy.
