Soo...I'm riding along at slightly over speed limit  and this lady slams on her brakes at a green light in front of me   I started to freak out, then I just let my mind go blank  (not very hard for me )  Anyway I'm still alive, just madder than hell, I looked back and the Buddha Loves You was still sitting at a dead stop with the light green

I've had someone pull that on me before too.  I think they saw the red turn signal lights in the left lanes and got confused?   They were in a huge old farm truck and they looked like they were from the boonies...

Scared the hell outta me!!  I probably would have expected it a little if it was some backwoods rusted out farm truck but this was just a green honda SUV.      What really gets me is that she still didn't move even after I buzzed by like 1 ft from her window 

suv's and minivans scare me more than old farm trucks. they're slower and slightly more predictable since most of the time the driver has too much to do keeping it on the road to talk on the phone. i had some rude skanky/extrememly unatractive woman in a mustang trying to kill me today. on the 101 north, 2 lanes, 2 slow cars to the right, blue mustang (that's been dodging in and out of gaps between cars i wouldn't take my bike through) in front of me (#1 lane), f250 (late 80s ish) in front of her, then just as soon as she has a gap she jerks over into the right lane and jumps on it. then slows down to about the same pace as the truck. the she keeps slowing down soon she's back by me, i'm trailing the truck by about 4 counts, i glance at  her as she drops back even with me and she's just in her zone, not looking at anything so i wanted to get away from her. I accelerated slightly, i mean, barely twist it and she starts slowing down more. so i get enough room, turn on my signal  and accelerate some more then BAM she jumps on the gas and freaking took off with me on the white line and maybe 2.5 counts ahead of her. luckily the next exit was the one i needed so i got away before i got angry.

careful about passing cars who slam on the brakes in 2-lane streets, sometimes there are pedestrians you don't see... you know the scenario.

That said I climbed my GS onto a sidewalk in heavy traffic this week to get around some retard who wouldn't go/merge. The freak was honking at me before I even passed him but it worked.

++ !!!  I almost murdered a small family many years ago...  This HUGE FRIGGEN SUV stopped for no apparent (to me) reason... So, I went to pass him when the Peds came around his GIANT hood...  SCREEEEECH  

But...  I too have done stupid stuff like that on my bike...  I turned left behind someone that wouldn't turn left 'cause they didn't know what a flashing yellow meant.     IT MEANS GO WITH CAUTION YOU BASTARD!!!!


I paid for that move though...  There was a train waiting for me...  Then another one followed right behind that one...  Then it stopped and backed up.  I was stuck waiting for about 20 minutes before I finally lost it and squeezed my way out between the cars and took a different route.
