Squid= squirrely kid. i.e. waaaay tooo in-experienced, on waaaaay too powerful of a machine, or doing something kinda lame stupid or just plain weird dumb .

SQUID - the personality of "Kid" in biker boys. Riding a bike you aren't ready for in a way you aren't skilled enough to. Not respecting the bike, or acting sanely - typically portrayed as a kid wearing shots, sandals and a T or wife-beater while doing 100mph wheelies down the freeway, or some other busy street. Did I get it all?

It has been said that the term squid comes from the sea creature of the same name. Hauls ass in a straight line, comes to a stop to turn, then hauls ass in a straight line again. It has evolved to include people who ride without gear and those that just do dumb things on a bike. (Wheelying in traffic, etc.)

California has a helmet law so you won't see any hats unless they are backwards under their helmet

And they're both susceptible to gravel rash if thrown down a freeway...
