Jim Knopf's amazing Eight-Ball is featured as a photo spread and interview in RAPID magazine (an Australian mag specialising in customised sports/race bikes).

Too true, it's getting that way they should rename it Hirebuses & the occasional R1 or gixxer 1000.

How about scanning the page/pages covering the Eight-Ball GS and posting here for all to see?
407,400 miles in 30 years for 13,580 miles/year average.  Started riding 7/21/84 and hung up helmet 8/31/14.

Is that the rear-end on the lower right on the front of the magazine ??? LOL - with that large of a flat expanse you could rent it out for advertising  :thumb:

have you actually ridden the bike since these mods(before the paint).....or is it just a show piece?

then the 64,000 dollar question would have to be....
if you did this for a show piece...why didn't you build a H-D? .... since at least you could sell it and get real $ for it..  some RUB would have to have a kewl H-D.....at any cost.

to 1: i take 1500 km on the bike in september 2006. not only for show! 8)

to 2: everybody made a H-D.  ;) ;) ;)  i made the gs because nobody made a strange gs before. the gs is my love and i want to have a very specially GS. i made the gs only for me.  in a few years i made a H-D! :thumb:
