But I do remember this topic being brought up and someone stating why the site was closed...  I just can't remember...

Lev, the guy who ran it used to pop up here from time to time, I found that my pw was no longer valid some time before it closed and could not get back in. I think Pablo set up the UK meet'n'greet on this board as a reaction to the closure of gs500c.co.uk.
