I was thinking about going back and running the salesman ragged all day long...  Then tell him that I bought a bike somewhere else.  :flipoff:

But...  I think I'm just gonna leave it alone.  Either he got screwed too or he sold the bike to someone else for more money......  Salesmen are 90% liars, so how can I really be sure of which happened? :dunno_white:

I think it's best to just try to get over it, rather than try to get revenge...  I'm feeling a little better about the whole thing, but the sunshine and perfect riding weather isn't helping...  I want it to RAIN!!!

I'm still mad, but I'm wiser for it.  Next time I'll put money down or have the check in my hand when I go in.

hey, at least you are pre-approved for financing now  ;). better make sure that the bank hasn't sent them any money yet...

Yeah...  As soon as I got the voicemail I called the bank.

My credit is friggen gold, so the financing wasn't a big deal...  But, yeah......  I'm approved for 2 months.   :thumb:

Now...  Only if I could convince the wife of this:

SQUID!

**UPDATE**

I'm finally cool-headed about it, so I called my sales guy...

It turns out that their policy is to NOT hold bikes (understandable), NOT take deposits (WTF?), and NOT release bikes without a check (understandable).

So, there's pretty much nothing I (or the salesman) could have done about it, short of paying cash and riding it home...

I left a Voice Mail for the Sales Manager asking about the No Deposit policy and if they plan on changing it...  And what a customer can do to make sure their bike doesn't get sold to someone else...

Hopefully they'll change the policy to keep more people from feeling like they got the shaft.  :icon_confused:
