G'Day   I know a little about carbs, but just a question on jets on some of ya bikes,  the 20 i have no idea witch jet it is, the 65 is the one next to the main a 145, so where is the 20. I have a 89-06 haynes repair manual & have looked at diagrams on wiki as well but can not find this 20 jet. The bike is a 06 the carbs are BSR34SS, if someone has a photo or something it would help me out heeps.                      bugcool.

Thanks mate, it all makes cents now, all the photos i've seen only show 2 jets.  BTW is it posible to take the bowls off with carbs still in the bike & do this jet change.

yeah... its possible, but probably difficult. when you take the float bowls off, the floats will fall out too. also, i think youd be less likely to strip the float bowl screws if the carbs were off of the bike... but maybe not. if this is your first time rejetting, id definitely suggest taking the carbs out so you can see what youre doing. it really only adds like 10 minutes to the entire process anyway.

if you remove the bowls and the floats come out... then there is a problem

edit:

Just remove the airfilter, remove a few hoses label them for identification, disconnect the carbs from the engine and lift the carbs up for access with the rest of the wires and cables still all attached.

Its pretty easy.

thats how I did mine. step by step, close fuel petcock remove all hoses from tank, remove tank and put aside, remove airbox, lossen clamp holding the carbs and pull back a little(not too hard you dont wanna knock the bike off the side stand dont ask how I know)and flip over, remove 10 screws(including the 2 for the sensor) but be carfull not to strip them(not that hard I stripped about 4)remove bowls and R&R the jets and reverse process. I think it took me about 35 to 30 min the first time and I was taking my time.

BTW how do people put the fuel lines on wrong? on my 04 both the tank petcock and frma petcock are both marked :dunno_white: I guess some people dont pay attention
