Hi All. I've been browsing the site for a while now & think it's about time I registered.
I live accross the pond in sunny Scotland and own a, more or less, stock '94 GS 500. The only mods are 15t front socket and the exhaust can cut off & changed into a 'slip on' so I could easily remove it to weld up a few rust holes & re-paint it. The top 'cover' part from an old VW Camper rear shock is just the perfect diameter to weld on to the exhaust can to let it slip over the original pipe.
Thanks for all the usefull information on the forum. It's helped me with rebuilds of both brake calipers & other routine jobs.
