I bought the bike I'm sitting on in August 1966, new, for $700.  Here it is, 1967, the start of "The Summer of Love".  :icon_lol:

Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Another pic....the "portrait" angle.  I had that 305 scrambler for three years and put over 21K on it during that period. I never had a car then. Back then, cars were luxury items poor college kids didn't have.

Its nice to see those vintage bikes.. I think a lot of people have lost their appreciation for vintage.  :thumb:

bubba,
The bike is a 1970 Honda CB-450/K-1. Back in the early '70s, when factory sport bikes were virtually non-existant (an exception being a JPS Norton), we had to "roll our own" cafe racers, to borow a Brit term. The mods on the bike inclluded a Rickman front fender, reworked front forks, Koni shocks, Honda CB-250 sport bars, Dunlop K-81s (TT 100s), and a Yamaha race bike tail. In the '70s, this was a rare set-up in the midwest. By todays sportbike standards, it certainly would be a back marker, but "in its day", I could run with Honda 4s, except on real long straightaways.
