LED indicator lights?

Okay, I've read a few threads on this topic but I still have a few questions.

I have to replace the speedo light so I figured I might as well change all of them up there.

If I shop at superbrightleds.com I should get the WLED-6 LED bulb. I'm thinking White bulbs make the most sense. Blue might be cool but would it be bright enough?

[the Select LED Color pulldown menu only lists Red and Amber tho the text says White, Blue or Red].

What about the indicator lights (Oil, Turn Signals, High Beams, Neutral). Should I bother replacing those too? Could I use the cheaper and smaller 1 LED bulbs?  (WLED-W)  or the 4 LEDs? Should I go with white or match the color to the indicator light's color (blue, green, amber, red)?

Thanks,
dwburman

I put on Some Blue ones for my gauges and they are bright enough. As for the indicators if u want a deep color match the lens color or it will look faded.

I haven't done this yet... but I think you want the WLED-x5 bulbs for the gauges, not the WLED-x6. The "x5" have the leds pointing in all directions, that's what you need for the gauge lights.

The WLED-x6 work for the indicators (the turn signal reverses polarity, and this will work with that setup). However, those who have tried the blue for the high beam indicator say that it's far too bright and distracting, you want to get a dimmer, single-LED bulb replacement for that one.

Somebody who's done it correct me if I've said anything in error, please.
