If a 2000 will work check out the list of parts for sale on ebay right now. It appears to be an entire bike in pieces.

You should be able to buy one at walmart or any automotive store you have nearby for only a couple bucks. I'm not sure of the part number but it should be easy to search for. I had to replace mine a year or two ago and I think I spent less than $5 at walmart for it.

Do you need the relay with the 2 tabs that are perpendicular or are they parallel?

I have several of the perpendicular tab relays. Not sure if I have the other type.

Also, I replaced mine with a varible load electronic relay...Tridon EL-12.

Here's the thread I started when I replaced it. http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=25183.0  That has pictures of both types of relays. Looks like it was only $1.99 at wally world.

OK, Sounds like I will try a Walmart relay  :icon_mrgreen

But..

I am not sure then why when we used the relay for an 01 GS500 they blinked faster?

Also.. the blinking would slow when you rev the engine

Any explanation for that?
