when I was thinking about financing HSBC wanted some ungodly interest rate and I'd heard bad stories about very quick repo's.  My bank on the other hand gave me an awesome rate has the thing where you can miss a payment with no reprecussion.

Probably the best institution overall though, VW credit.  They financed my friend with absolutely no credit at a decent rate and worked with him to allow him to miss 2 payments while he got his life back on track after we were evicted and he had to quit his job :thumb:

If you're not late with payments, and ya' don't miss 'em, then ya' don't have to worry about the repo (wo)man!  :icon_mrgreen:

I'm a cash and carry sort of guy,but Washington Mutual helped me.I have a repo from a few years back and they gave me a credit card. The limit is based on income and the limit can go up over time.If you make payments and pay it off from time to time.My interest rate is 9.0% annual. That's good considering my credit score is so low they won't put a number value on it.

It may just mean that you have no credit, which is better than bad credit.

Try www.lendingtree.com  they take your info find the best 2 or 3 lenders.  Each lender offers you an interest rate.  Accpet the one you like the best.   And you done   At least thats how I got my gsf

Personally, I say don't finance anything that you don't NEED.

Used may be the way to go.If you have some idea what you'll get back on tax refund next year, get a loan and pay it off with tax monies. That's how I bought my bike.

well dont give up yet, but if it seems hopeless, if you are slightly mechanically inclined find a wrecked bike fix yourself, and have a machine for hardly anyting, . might be an option to consider
