Another find on ebay.....looks like the purple pegs are going to be removed for my track bike...

...and I will be installing some Yosh pegs

Common sense in not very common.

I have not been too motivated to work on the bike. But I have finished mounting the mirrors and of course it was not a simple install. I bought mounts for a SV. The right side was a direct bolt-on but the left required some machining since the GSXR clutch I am using is a little different. I was surprised how well the mirrrors work. They are convex so with being short they provide a good view from behind. Plus they look cool.

Pretty much finished the rear caliper hanger adapter bracket tonight. Nothing fancy. Currently it is a 2 piece bolted together. I am using the stock RGV hanger and a 03 GSXR1000 caliper. Goodridge s/s braided line installed.

Are you talking about the "pig spotters" ?

If so did you get the ones with integrated turn signals?

I have no idea what "pig spotters" are.  :dunno_white:

These mirrors do not have signals

They're tiny crappy mirrors that are just enough to make the bike road legal, stupid idea, but if you don't use mirrors, I guess it doesn't matter.

That bike is beautiful, you're truly a talented guy.

Ahhh... I didn't know they were convex now.  When the first generation Pig Spotters came out they were complete crap.  There was a mirror on there, but quite literally it was taken straight from my wife's compact (face powder) and the only thing you could see was your forearm.

I was digging around, doing searches, when I found this thread again.I saw dgyver's creation today. These pics do not do this bike justice. If you get a chance to see this bike, check it out.It is soooooo much cooler in person.I had to try and keep my back to it.I wanted to get down and really look at all the detail this bike has.Dgyver has not listed all the mods here, just the really clever ones.Once this bike is finished,it will be the coolest I've ever seen.I give it 10 thumbs streight up.

Send unused parts to dgyver.

Thanks for the help dgyver.

I am hoping to start laying up the mold the week, which may take up to 2 weeks due to curing time. The master is prepped and ready to pull the first half of the mold. I have been burned out from doing body work, so I keep putting it off.

The rear brake reservoir is a little too close to the exhaust pipe. I am going to have to make a heat shield. Just need to form/bend/roll a piece of stainless steel. I have what I want in my mind but getting to come out that way is another story. Kinda act like a heel guard that wraps around the reservoir and I will attach muffler wrap to the inside. It would really suck to melt the reservoir.

Thanks Ben. Anytime.

Hey D, why not just go to a rear reservoir delete kit, like I'm going to?

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

I was going to use a hose with a plug but they were out of stock when I ordered several of these Brembo mini reservoirs.

Do you have a link to the delete kit?
