Hey hey , got the time to fit it 2day and what a Day , On The Gstwin Forum , D Said it would take about 1 hour to file down the stem , took me more like 2/3 , but i did have breaks to play a video game , followed those instructions, and they were spot on , so i have it done, and its turning dark , and i still got to take apart the gs , so i work as fast i can , taking the throttle off and i had to take stuff off the loom , theres to wires im not sure about, but ill work it out 2morrow , so i ask my bro and mate to lift the gs  , comes out completely fine , and i go to mount the Katana , and i had loosened the bottom triple to move the stem up to file , so it just falls really bad down, but its manage able , so i lift it up and tighten . and then i noticed the bottom bearing didnt match up , so i was trying to work it out , and then i thought , SPACERS , so i ran inside , and i looked at this great website , and i matched the blushings , and it mounted Perfectly , the filing and the top bearing , perfect , looks like it was ment to be there, and tightened it ,

im so damn pleased with the Results, and Thanks Again D , For the spacers , The Excellent Right up , and all the Help You gave me ,

Im sooo Sooo Pleased , It fits like a glove , perfect, looks like it fits better than the Gs one!! the bearings were fine , turns fine , not to soft , not to hard , the way it looks is so much more aggressive ,bigger,. fatter , and generally reallly koooll ., still have to modify the top plate to mount the acewell ,and so i can have the warning lights, but i got my old broken one to test out alotta ways im gonna do it , and it , and my new ones coming in ,

got my new fork brackets for the headlight and stuff,

And its a naked . so it will look even better!!

I ground and knocked the stems loose from GS and katana triples ...
Wanted to swap them ... GS stem in katana triple ... then figured out ... I can weld the Katana stem back short ...
Anyway ... have fun ... I am figuring things as well.
The hardest will prolly be the dash mount ... IMHO. My goal is to make it look factory like. Lets see ...

Mine Luckyly wasnt welded in , so they came loose so it was really simple , i dont have access to welding anything at the moment , i want to buy equipment and learn , and would be handy for projects , i have a acewell dont i , it will need one drill hole in the top clamp, and bolted on , sorted , and as for the light , it has the indicators built in , and i managed to get some cheap 41 mm brackets ,

The reallllly hard bit , will be the N Indicators , oil etc , im not looking forward to that lol

Ill have loads of fun , mhmm it looks so good , the GS should come stock with it

Thats another helpful thing bout this forum , attention to detail, 

i didnt relise it went like that , would of made sense , its a perfect fit , and the throttle and clutch,  and signals and stuff, fit straight on , and theres no traps in the wires , its better than the Gs! , plus the horn on the front the loom attaches on to that , and then its gonna be easyer to hide the wires behind the headlight , Very Pleased !

That is a Kat fender. Actually, the GS and 89-97 Kat fenders are interchangable. The 98+ Kat fenders are not.
