i'm looking at a bike, seeing as the gs will be out of commission for a little while    The shop it's at doesn't know a lot about it just the price   It's a yamaha,  the shop believes it's a 650,  it's been streetfightered ( no fairings, has an acerbis cyclops up front.  it's early 00's either an 02 or 03.  The frame reminds me of a Duc it kinda has that trellis look.  anyone know what the hell it is??? if so opinions of it???  I like it, I'm going to look at it again today so I'll add more details if I note anything I think could be identifieing.

a yamaha 650? we need pics...cum to think of it i think the yzf600r can be bored and stroked to almost 650

Thats the frame!!!!  but not anything else.  The tail looks like an r6 tail.  So I'm guessing it's a heavily modified one of those....any opinions

looks like one as far as tail and tank but the frame is different.  The guy at the shop took it out and said it's got a helluva lotta torque for a non-r bike

they don't know anything about it? Does it have a title? Whats the title say? i duno if I would buy a bike from a place that doesn't even know what it is 

yeah I know,  it's just at the shop for exposure the owner has the  title.  It does kinda strike me as odd that they don't know specifics   update:  it's a kawi not a yam,  sorry I brain farted

OK, I figured it out.  It's a ninja 650r.  just minus the fairings.  I like the red tube frame and black bodywork
OK....basically a kawi version of the SV650.........in other words a 70-75hp GS.  I think I may be buying it

That's a Kawasaki, not a Yami
