GS idling problems

I can't get my bike to idle correctly while riding around.

I've set the idle to 1200-1300'ish while the engine was well warmed up. It idles ok with the choke on but takes literally 15 minutes of riding around for the thing to warm up so that it'll idle correctly and not stall.

so the bike idles when really warm, takes forever to warm up and even when it's warm the revs just fall down to zero and the bike dies at stop lights sometimes.

Am i describing an issue anyone has had before? What could this be and how do i start to fix it??

just a glitch.  tinkering with your mixture will probably cure the problem.  You're probably running, which isn't helping you warm up.
