I left to go there early saturday and came back late sunday.  Gorgeous :o :o :o :o  I stayed at the Marriiot right on the beach :thumb:  It was just incredible.  There were multiple bars including one one on the pool deck    I ran up a $270 bar tab over the weekend.
Also figured out that while having a motorcycle gets the beach bunny attention, having hardware stiicking out of your hand from a motorcycle wreck gets at least as much beach bunny attention :icon_twisted:  Great visit all around, I can't wait to go back and highly suggest it.  BTW:  you can get rooms at the marriot through hotwire for about 150 a night compared to regular rate of 350 :thumb: :thumb:

Rant:  I saw at least 15 guys on bikes with absolutely no gear on.  We're talking t-shirts and shorts.  The kicker:  Every single one had a helmet strapped to the back of the bike.  Not a single one actually had a helmet on.  What f%$king idiots    Oh well darwin at work :icon_rolleyes:

Haveing $500+ helmets straped to the rear seat of your bike is the shitz in SC  all the cool kids are doing it.

I think they go out buy the coolest looking helmet that matches their bike, take it home wash / wax the helmet every other week or so and keep it staped to the rear of their bikes.  Then they meet in local parking lots and talk smack about who has the coolest / shiniest helmet.

BTW glad you had a cool trip.

I did see a 1098  just scream by  :o  he was wearing full gear thank god.   It was gorgeous even for the tenth of a second I saw it.  Saw several other Duc's.....mostly 900ss and a couple of monsters :o

The helmet thing is just friggin retarded :icon_rolleyes:

They were everywhere when I was there.  Just none using their helmet   I'm probably heading up there again in a month :thumb:
