Pictures will follow, it's dark out, and I don't have any right now, but for now, let me try to describe the key features.

It's a 1993 Yamaha FZR1000. No front end fairings, but has an Acerbis Diamond front end. Actually pretty decent lighting for the size of the lamps. It was laid down, yes, the frame has a few dents, but nothing to stop me from riding it everyday, and it rides straight, handles surprisingly well(pretty heavy bike). Basically, the bike is pretty ugly, but that's why I loved it so much. It is absolutely the fastest thing I've ever rode, so I'll be pretty selective in who I sell this too, and that's why I'm selling it. I don't need, or use this much power, and the bike is frankly just a little big for me. But more about the looks. The tail section is there, it's beat up, could probably be sanded and made to look respectable, not anywhere near showroom, but respectable. Tank has rash on it from when whoever laid it down, and no, it wasn't me. Could stand for a spray can repaint for sure. I'll make no illusions about this, part of the fun is the beat up plastics and the ugly paint, but it's no joke when it's leaned over, as I mentioned, handles really well for a heavy bike. Brand new, well, like a few hundred miles on them, Pilot Power 2CT, the dual compound ones. Brand new 530 chain/sprockets, carbs rebuilt, newer spark plugs/wires/coils. I haven't done a whole lot to it, only because I didn't have to.

The bike itself is jetted pretty rich, why you ask? Yamaha had a fancy valve in the exhaust, the EXUP valve, they still use it now, so if you remove it, you have to jet the bike around it. Well, this bike has a full system, and individual K&N pods. It's pretty evil sounding, I love it. But it rides really well, runs a little fat still at low RPM, but smooth after that. After the fairings came off, the gauges didn't go back on. No speedo, tach, odometer, nothing. Not safe, I know, but I ride safely, and stay with traffic. I know this whole description sound like some stupid stunt bike, with me being the 'stunter', I can assure you that's not the case. At one point in it's life, it has probably been ridden quite hard, but what bike hasn't? The only evidence this bike shows, engine wise, is the very common 2nd gear slip on the FZR's, only fixable by replacing the gear itself, but it doesn't always do it, so I've never really thought splitting the cases was a viable option just to fix it. It doesn't smoke, it rides like a 140hp rocket, and will put to shame a lot of newer bikes on the road. But, I'm a pretty short guy, and it's a big bike, just want to see about getting something smaller/lighter, with less power.

So I post it on here, because I have a thing for the GS, and already have a Kat front end in the garage. Maybe someone would like to move up, with some body work, one could have a full fairing sport bike, capable of running with most modern machines. I'm in Orlando, Florida, and would be willing to travel a bit for the right bike. But just email me if you are interested, or curious. As I mentioned, pictures will be tomorrow, I'm hoping, weather has been pretty bad here lately.

BTW, sorry for the long winded post, I tend to type a lot in my descriptions, and I've probably missed some things, so no one go biting my head off just yet. Just ask if it's not in there. Thanks!

As promised, some pictars. Also, the fork seals need to be replaced, also common on the big Fizzers. But I have the parts for it, seals and wipers.

I have a few more, but also, here is a picture of the fairings I have left for it.

Hard to see, but it's the two sides, and the middle, under the radiator. It really only NEEDS and upper, but the rest of them are pretty beat, so I would consider replacing them to make it perfect. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks!

Yeah I'm sorry, I nitpick things, I really wanted to get everything out there ya know? I hate sellers who don't disclose info. It really is a great bike, just not what I 'need' at the moment. The PO thinks there were around 40k on it. That's what the cluster says, but I honestly can't say for sure. Not even sure if it's the original engine, because it honestly doesn't feel like it's got that much on it.

But sinthetic, did you email me? I'm up for any year GS, what do you have?
