I am in need of a complete set of (working) carbs. I have had issues with mine and would just like to pop in another set to see for sure what the problem is.

I need them ASAP! I can offer cash as well as trade. I have the OEM 89+ Headlight, bars, bar mount, tail light and signals if anyone needs them

PLEASE HELP! There is a huge rally in town this weekend and I need to ride!

(I am sure some one will bring it up so here is the story)

The mechanic belives that my boots are either torn a little or just plain worn. The bike will go up to speed fast and smooth but I cannot hold any speeds mid range. He thinks that it is either the boots or the slides... Any input is helpful but another set of carbs would be the fastest and easiest  fix

Boots are different from carbs ... swap carbs and have bad boots and problem is still there ...
The slides and diaphragms are in the carb and removable after removing the tank ... no need to take out anything ...
OK I have this popping fresh set Iwas putting in my 95 ... can wait a few days ... you send me your carbs and say $100 ... (rejet is ~ $55 including shipping ... you may need slides or diaphragms) ... Boots being bad ... ha ha joke's on you ... my carbs wont do squat ...
Or ... send me your carbs I'll sort it out. $45 and shipping for simple rejet, more if more crap is needed. Obviously ... more time and the risk of more problems is yours ...

Thats what I meant by boots... My mistake. He thinks that there is a prob w/ the diaphrams/slides.

HELP! 

I have no diaphragms I believe, and slides I have - down to the last 2 but I do have them...
I can fix yours - ~$80 with rejet (diaphragm costs 15 each) and say $50 without rejet (all the labor of rejet, just no $20 in jets) yes, but If you want me to trade ya good for bad I'd do for 100 ... cos ... what if something else is wrong BTW mine are re jetted for pipe and air box filter ... with 125/40's.

thats more $ than I wanted to spend... I can send you my old carbs as well as 2 extra frame petcocks for your good carbs with stock jets for $50

My carbs are in very nice shape even clean and shiny inside and out Just not working right.

Or if you can ship me up the slides and diaphrams

Also.. You think that it is the diaphragms and slides or one or the other I get a hard bucking/surging above 45mph but if I hit the gas I can accelerate (so its not starvation?) I just cant hold speed above 45mph without the surging.

Also if it will sweeten the deal (if you need them)

Stock jets ... Maybe jetswings have stock jets ... I'll send it tommorow after a quick once over ... send yours and $$ and petcocks etc ... forget the other crap ... yea, I need more jets ... like alaska needs more snow ...
