Get whichever color is cheaper.

You laugh, but the color DOES add more $$$.  Weird.

Not for the 2007 models tho.

The only thing that I don't like about the R6S is that its suspention is what they 'downgraded'.  And it still has the 5 valve engine.

buzzzzzzz wrong guess again...the r6s never had the 5 valve engine
http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/modelfeatures/500/1/features.aspx

The fuel injection is also a single stage set of injectors vs. duel injectors

The r6v is going away from the 5 valve motor they figured out that it was slowing the engine down and that the can decrease chamber size to generate more compression.

You also don't get the slipper clutch and fly by wire throttle controls or there state of the art ignition system
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

just curious, how would a 5 valve engine work on a 4cyl engine? or do you mean 5 valves per cylinder?

5 valves per cylinder :thumb:  what is it 2 intake 3 exhaust or the other way around???

3 intake, 2 exhaust.  45 degree forward tilt of the cylinder block to allow straight-down, downdraft carburetors; a straighter shot directly into the cylinder, is also a part of Yamaha's Genesis engine design.

Red is a dominant color; it is used to put off other riders; make them afraid, intimidated.
