there are state web sites that show that for VA but that wouldn't help you.  You are in GA right?

Yep Ga, bad thing is I don't know the name but I do know the address and when it happend and that a swat team was involved.

I normally check the sheriff page, if not there check out some news sites.

If SWAT responded it should be in the paper........you can try the police department/SD that had jurisdiction but in some cases the amount of information that can be made public pre-trial is very limited.

any conviction should be able to be looked up on the state courts web site, that is how it is here, i will see if i can find a similar page.

that's for conviction....sounds like this arrest was recently made so a conviction is a little ways out

No something happend at my ex-wife's house and I'm tring to find out what happend.  At the moment I have no idea what happend just that the swat team showed up arrested a man and confiscated her pc.

I want to get a police report to my lawyer and maybe gain custody of our son.

Go for it.I have my youngest son with me.Joint custody of my oldest.My boys are from 2 different relationships tho.

Ummm If they arrested a man and confiscated a pc it was probably FBI and My bet would be on some form of child pornography or similar   I would call the local sherriffs dept and your local FBI field office   Hope ya get custody....shouldn't be to hard of a fight at this point

Theoretically   it is quite relevant.  But if the feds are involved they'll just delay it

yeah, you might have to go to the court house and look it up in the public records.  I couldn't find anything that would let you search through the public records of GA like here in VA.  If the PC was taken then it might be an illegal buisness of some kind, in which case you might be able to get custody of your son, depending on what it was and who was charged with what.

Thanks I called once they said I have to show up in person so looks like another trip to Savannah for me.

I'll keep looking on the local papers and news stations too.  I'm trying to do this myself because if I get my lawyer involed my fee's are going to go sky high, and I already  paid 2K.
