I took my air box out tonight and just for kicks I started it up. It started quick and rev'ed out better than before, is this normal?

I don't have a clue what has been done to this bike prior to my owning it what is the possibility of it already having jets. It had UNI stickers on it when I got.

Or will it only show signs of jetting issuse when I ride it?

Most issues arise when you ride it.  Spend the $40 and get new Uni's on there and see how she works.  Everytime i see a stock GS airbox i think the guys at zooki must just shaZam! that idea out and said "yeah that'll do."

Ok so I'm just going to order jets and put on my K&N box and Ramus muffler. she should run good then.

When I rode my GS with a K&N Lunchbox filter but with stock jets, it would rev cleanly all the way to 10,000RPM but when you actually rode it, she basically hit the wall at 6,000rpm and wouldn't go any higher.

Thats fuuny my bike right now run really weak under 6K unless I'm in first or 2nd. gear. I do this with everything I've not tried yet. I play around and try to avoid doing it, when I'm sure it's an easy fix.
