Do not use progressive or geico for any sportbike. They use a model classification system. Progressive qouted me $2,500 annually for my 954 and that's at 36 with a clean record and good credit. My insurance is $220 a year for the bike with state farm and that's on a $250 deductible. I do get a multiline discount since I have 2 bikes a car a truck and my homeowners with them. At 26 years old my wifes 06 F4i is $124 annually with $250 deductibles. Our total annual insurance bill is less than what you were quoted for a bike. Total monthly premium for all vehicles is $239
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

yamahonkawazuki

indeed adolph, it helps having multiple vehicle discounts in place, but youve got a great rate with your company

Progressive charged me 118 for the GS and I just hit 22.   I checked on a 910r with $500 deductible it's 2300 annually .    I have a pretty rough driving record too.

My bike without the homeowners or multiline was $254.

You don't want to know what we paid for the GS before we sold it when it was with state farm. If I remember right we had $100 deductible on full coverage. and paid like $4.35 a month.

i stared out at 74 a month on my gs . then after one year with now tickets or wreaks and droped to 40 and then they called me and told me they messed up on last years figures so did not have to pay for a few months. but when i asked them about the 600rr they wanted 400 a month !!! i was like screw that .. state farm said 85 a month :)
