Correct...as long as you have a GS stem to press into the Kat triple.
Common sense in not very common.

ok... got a lttle problem here i think.... :icon_confused: the kat stem is pressed in....however the gs stem seems to be welded.  Now what :dunno_white:
Personally since i dont need the lower triple off of the gs i wouldnt mind grinding out the welds..  but on the flip side i dont want to grind out the welds and mess up the stem or its length.

dgyver

Get a GS triple with a pressed in stem.

just got back from the bike shop.  I had one of my shop mechanics i go to when i cant do stuff take a look at it.  he ground away the bead.  Not much there to begin with i found out.  and then preseed the stem out of the gs triple then repressed it into the kat triple. then added a quick bead of weld himself for extra saftey.  Also picked up a used tailight for $40 while i was there.  Then went and dropped off my key to the gs ignition to get copies made along with the top triple for the kat with its ignition.  The kat forks didnt come with a key.. so hopefully by monday they will have a few keys made for the kat ignition and extra keys for the gas tank and seat lock.  now i get to go serve alcoholic beverages to beautiful women on the beach... :icon_razz:   what a great day it has been so far :thumb:
