Anybody Need One or Two or Three? I found a Guy today letting them go for $35 Per.They go for around $60-$70 I think.I figured I would Pass the Info On.I can pick them up and Ship them to Anyone that Wants one. They are the MT2 Models.A little Outdated but are Brand New in the Package.I picked up one just for the Heck of it to take the Tempurature of Pipes,Cylinders,Tires ETC.

Here's the Raytek Site
http://www.raytek-northamerica.com/cat.html?cat_id=2.3.5&PubSessID=921314d6450369cd673db99c3a85f69d&PHPSESSID=publicRaytekNorthAmerica

Just to Help Him Get rid of them I figured I would let Everyone on the Motorcycle Boards that I belong to Know About them.I won't be Making anything off of the Deal.Like I say they are $35 Per + Shipping.Just to Help Him and anyone here who Races,Tunes,Piddles ETC. I figured I would mention it.

This isn't the Only thing he Has.I can get everyone some really Good deals on Packs of Heat Shrink Tubing,Mac Test Lights,Vise Grips,Klein Wire Strippers and Pliers,Sockets,Ratchets,Tape Measures.ETC.ETC.ETC. The Only Problem Is I have to Move Crates upon Crates of Tools to just Find out what he Does Have.

Hmmm ... i do Heating & Cooling , and my IR temp probe has a busted screen . I gotta check the local guys , but i may be intersted .

As far as Klein tools - Does he have any of the red-handled side-dykes . They're like the lineman's in that first link without the "pliers" type jaw on the end . They may be this : http://www.toolsource.com/heavy-duty-angled-diagonal-cutting-pliers-p-58187.html , but they're Kleins . I've used them for years , and i'm very specific because i'm so used to them . i can strip wire with them , cut wire , cut the little 1/2 to 3/4 knock-outs on our A/C units where the line voltage comes in . They aren't the cheapo's that have the short jaw with a real sharp angle to them ,and the jaws are all cutting surface (ie: no grooved surfaces to be used like pliers)
they are Klein brand and i'm having problems finding them locally except at Home Despot ( yeah , i meant to add that S to "Depot") and they want like $30 for them . I can afford the $30 for a tool i use pretty much every day , but i like the new ones and usually give mine to my installers when the get more than 6 months old or if my helper lets them get rained on or they get wet
If he has these , and they're decently priced , i'll take a set to check them out , then buy a few more once i know they're the right ones  :thumb:

I think He Has Some of these.

they're the J2000 Series for Cutting Nails ETC.

If he Doesn't I'm sure He'll have Something Similar.I have to try to go tomorrow and Pick up 4-5 Thermometers for Some Other guys I'll see what I can Come up with. :thumb:

Doesn't the color designate the voltage they are capable of handling?

also when you say "set" are you talking more than one of diff types?

Does he sell these on eBAy? He should...  :thumb:

I am very interested in getting a good "set" or range of diff Klein tools but I would need to know what there is to pick from  :thumb: I know that that may not be possible but it would be ideal  :icon_mrgreen:

Thanks for offering these to the GS community!

I do believe mine are 6" , so yeah , that's probably it . The colored handles on those specific Kleins are red for straight & blue for a slightly angled jaw (angled relative to the handles that is) , either would work , but reds are preferable . They claim the grips won't isolate you from voltage on their sidedykes , so they aren't color coded for voltage

Jughead

I tell you what I'll go and sort out what he Has (Or what I can Find  ) and Take a Picture. He has thought About Ebay but usually sticks with Swapmeets and Fleamarkets. If He'll let me I'll sell on Ebay for Him this Winter.I figured I would Show Him How much revenue could be Made on the Internet on everything. :thumb: Since I'm buying tools myself I don't care to Pick anything up and Ship it out to everyone just to make Him some Extra Money.Sure I won't Make Anything but if I raise his Sales I'm sure He'll work with me When I don't have anything Else to do. :thumb: :thumb:

the second pic down is them ... when i try to click on the descriptions , they keep showing the ones with the steep crappy jaws . I'm gonna see if there's a number of some sort on mine , if not i'll find out from Home Despot's packaging  :thumb:

I'm not anal about much , mainly my sidedykes & my Fluke multimeters  :dunno_white:

Back when I used a pair of d y k e s regularly, I sort of preferred the flush-cut versions. For most things it doesn't make much difference, but they have much less tendency to leave a sharp tip on wires and cable ties, so you just get stabbed and scratched up less in the course of a day.
