Just thought I might pass this info on.  I know how hard it is to find a quality exhaust for the GS, so here is what I've learned recently.

JARDINE has just put their full exhaust back into production, SS 2-1 headers to an alum. race can.  Looks/Sounds great.  I just installed mine yesterday.  349 shipped from pipecity.com.

YOSHIMURA has also just started making a trs slip on for the bike.  here is the most recent email I got from them:

"We are in the process of building the TRS slip-ons, they should be released in about 2-3 weeks.  Here are the part numbers and prices:

1150262: GS500 05-07 TRS SO SS/CF    $499
1150265: GS500 05-07 TRS SO SS/SS    $379

remus all so makes a exhaust for the gs its about 650 threw exotic bikes. does the jardine sound any thing like the vance and hines. if so it sounds like a 4 wheeler. let me know what it sounds like
