Sad day man. Definate eye opener because i am a smoker. I'll be re-thinking my habits cause things happen.

Yes, smoking is hard to quit, and most have to give it a bunch of tries, but it's soooo much strain off of your body...

I'm a smoker and it is awfully hard to quit.  Thankfully, I'm heading to an environment where I can't smoke, so quitting will be more a matter of necessity than a matter of will.

If smoking wouldn't eventually kill me young, I would smoke forever.  I really do enjoy it.  Unfortunately, it DOES kill you young.  Also, I am going to have to rededicate myself to getting (and staying) in shape as part of my new Navy career, and smoking is HARD on your heart/lungs.  

I'm looking forward to being able to run and actually taste/smell my food.
