!.  Last auto citation, and for what?
1995. DUI, $4,000  in attorney fees plus court costs reduced charge to reckless driving.

2. Last bike citation, and why?
Last fall. Operation in a manner not safe and reasonable. Roll on power wheelie and hanging off the bike :icon_rolleyes: Warned about that one.

Passing in a no passing zone. Warned about this one as well.

Speeding in excess of 25mph above the posted limit. Ticket was written for 9mph above the posted limit. Paid it without batting an eye said the appropriate thank you's.

All in all a pretty cool trooper

3. Have you ever "run", and the outcome?

All the time when I lived in the desert. I would just head off the road when I saw lights in the rear view. Worked really well.

Only a couple of times on a bike lost them both times.

Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

3) Run from MP in army service , was driving a soft top truck , was wearing army type helmet which feels like a ton on your head
after couple of hours , was very hot , was going about 60mph in a 60 zone , MP with a radar signaled me to stop as my truck was allowed only 40mph on
the highway , I didn't "notice" him , changed to left lane and was going 75mph (the fastest it could go) , thought they weren't allowed to give chase , but they did , only ended up with a speeding ticket .  That was fun  :cookoo:
MP's are so much fun to f%$k with it's not even funny :thumb: :thumb:

1. 2 For speeding, one was doing 105 in a 25 zone and the second was doing 80 in a 40 zone. 2 for not using a seatbelt 1 for having black headlight covers and blue neons flashing inside the car and 1 for not having a front license plate... oh yeah 1 for having tinted windows on the driver and passenger windows.
2. nothing yet

1.  Last auto citation, and for what?

2000 -- running a stop sign.  Or so the cop claimed.  I had actually stopped, then pulled forward, then stopped again (I was driving an 83 Lincoln Continental with a looooong hood).  This was a small college town in Pennsyltucky that enjoyed harassing out-of-staters.

2. Last bike citation, and why?

2004 -- "unsafe driving."  Lane splitting.  Should have watched for cops more carefully.

3. Have you ever "run", and the outcome?

I was doing 75 in a 55.  Cop lit up quite a bit behind me, but then I went over a hill.  I decided it would be a good idea to take the next exit and stop at a diner that I frequently go to anyway.  Lunch was good.  Yum.  I have no idea if the cop was actually chasing me, but I'm glad I didn't find out...

1. 1996 - failure to comply with a road sign - $35 fine

2. Haven't been cited since I started riding 4 years ago.

3. Have never (and will never) run.  I don't tend to give anyone much reason to chase me anyway.  I ride like a sissy.   8)

Rich, RIP.

Unnamed

In 7 years I've never been cited, and only pulled over once. That was in a friend's SUV with tinted windows, out of state plates, a recently renewed registration, me with an out-of-state license, going 80 in a 55 through Maryland. I think the cop didn't want to fill out the paperwork and so let me off without even a warning. I speed all the time, I just try not to be the fastest on the road and it seems to work out for me.

3. I don't know if it counts, but I went riding with a group of guys and we ripped past a GSP speed trap on I95 at about 140.  f%$k knows if they tried to chase us we were less than a mile out from SC.

!.  Last auto citation, and for what?

2004...I forgot to register my Porsche and my temp tags expired.

2. Last bike citation, and why?

Never had one.

3. Have you ever "run", and the outcome?

When I was younger...no point in running if you can't get away.  My ideals have changed rather drastically in the last several years.  Not only would I not run now, I'd assist in stopping whoever does.
rofl mak i remeber that post. will see if i can find it. and post it. now my turn

last auto sept15 07 speeding, paid fine. i was guilty as hell

last ( and only bike cite) was a warning in 04 right before i sold my gs, was clocked doin 90+ ( in a  55) i shot the shaZam! with the cop for a while, and got a warning. ( most leos in town are riders as well) and basically said if you MUST ride that fast, do it carefully
and no ive never run from the cops, i cannot outrun a radio
no i stand corrected, a winter storm a few years back, a cop was tryin to tell me to slow down, i made it up a hilly road inmy frontier, he couldnt. i circled around, and came up behind him, and asked him " were you looking for me?" hes like f%$king smart ass, slow down and laughed no warning either. now they keep asking me if i want a job lol

1. 80-something in a 65, in Ohio, which luckily is a non-coop state with PA...no points on my license!
2. Never...I'm probably a more cautious rider than most cops, unless I'm trying to follow someone.
3. If I were a cop, I'd record the license plate # before I even turned on the lights.  In fact, I'm pretty sure dash cams make this automatic.  So, running from cops is an almost guaranteed jail term or MASSIVE fine.  I'd never try.  I do have a good story about getting pulled over as a designated driver with a carful of drunks...

However lol, i did have a shaZam! scary incident where i was riding into my local town doing about 85 on the windy roads, its quite a convoluted way navigating the countryside so lots turning left then right and roundabouts and such and at one junction i picked up a black BMW behind me who stuck with me even when i was doing 85 i thought it was quite odd for a car to be trying to keep up, usually they try and overtake if they want a race (that never works lol) but anywhos we get onto the last main road into town and im cruising about 85 him sitting behind me, then suddenly the fooker turns on his blues and twos! Unmarked car, i almost shaZam! myself my worst nightmare and had been wondering if he was for a while, thankfully he overtook me and blasted off into town (obviously he was called to something else) i have no doubt tho that he woulda pulled me if he hadn't had to go somewhere else. Now im constantly looking as much into cars as possible, check for lights behind the grills and stuff to make sure im not about to blast past an unmarked or get followed by one.

I've actually thought of an occasion where i "evaded" a cop due to them been a pest and following me to make sure i was sticking to the limits. He litrally had nothing better to do than follow me in his marked 4x4. We got to this road that is really windy, runs round some hills, then opens up onto a long streight, 60mph limit. I went onto there with him following me, hit the first turn and then the second, he was out of sight now even though relativly close behind me, i nailed it through all the turns and down the streight. By the time he came out of the turns and onto the streight i was at the end going around the corner lol. Must looked so funny, he went in like a car length behind me, came out half a mile away haha. It did occur to me he would pull me over and try and warn me because i must have been speeding to get away from him like that. I just hate cops who have nothing better to do than that.

1. Four years ago I received a ticket for expired registration
2. Last summer I received a ticket for "illegal passing"
3. Yes, not too long ago.  This has been the only time I have ever ran.. and I got away..

My buddy and I were going out for a ride on a sunday evening and we started gettin a little squidly.  WHEELIES. and lots of em.  He had just dropped one tooth off his front sprocket on his R1 and discovered he was capable bringing the front wheel up with roll-ons in second gear at 80mph.  YIKES.  I brought one up at about 30mph and kept it high for 5-6 seconds, with him one lane over doing the same, except moving a little faster(his 1st gear is wayyy taller).  Just as I was bringing mine down I saw the LEO flip on his cherries n berries, but he was on the other side of the median, going the other way and slowing down.  My buddy and I know the area well(btw there weren't many cars on the road this sunday evening) so we took off.  We took a few turns, jumped on the highway, we saw high triple digits, we exited and took the long way home.

We were wearing our leathers, but even so, the whole situation was scary enough to make me never want to do it again..
