Hey, anyone know much about buell XB12's? the guy that owns the tattoo shop i go to in berkeley has one and he's been having a crapload of problems with the charging system, i was wondering if any of ya'll might know of anything common on them. just a shot in the dark, if no luck here i'll find a forum.

It seems I've heard of charging problems on them here and there, but I can't remember exactly what it would be.  Check out badweatherbikers.com for help... they've got a fairly extensive tech section and lot's of knowlegeable people

btw, the xb12 wasn't made until 03 or 04

it's been a couple weeks since i talked to him about it so when i did a quick search thats the one that sounded closest. i remember it is 01 though.

it in a sence is a sportster engine, so the harley forums can help there. btw  can you elaborate any on the probs?
