So Im getting a 14t sprocket and will get a new chain with it, or soon after. I would like a chain that has a master link I can remove fairley easy.

It says its for 205cc and under. will that be ok for my bike?

Yeah, a shop will tell you different so they can sell a more expensive chain, but one rated for a 250 will be fine

No problem, here's the DID appication specs.  The 520V is shown as OE equivelant for the GS500.

Ohhhh, and a 108 link will be tough to get on, but it is the right choice.  Just make sure to check tension very regularly for the first few hundred miles, and don't be worried about it being tight as hell when you first put it on.  Just ride a little gentle for the first 100 miles.

Sounds good, When I put my 15t on I had to keep readjusting my chain till it stopped stretching, I figured the 14t with 108 links will be about the same. Hey terry you had a 14t, Im wondering what your top speed was? I do a fair amount of gihway driving at around 80 should I still be able to hit 80?

yeah, 80 isn't a problem, and it'll get there damn quick for a gs.  Just don't expect a whole lot of puch past that.    Top speed: 110 max.  I was stopped for 105 once and it was damn near screaming

I rarley go past 80, sometimes 90 but thats it. oh yeah what about power wheelies? can I do em or do I still need the clutch. Not that im going to do em but just like to know.
