well after being tired of being ignored on the road horn wize I decided to get the stebel airhorn,,
wow.. really loud... and I now feel cars will hear me.

2. extend the wires 6 inches and reinstall (tape to hold wire close to unit)



fit under the body kit without a problem it is on the same angle of the frame to clear body kit interior black plastic cover plate.

FWIW... I have no "body kit", and the stebel didn't really fit in the stock location (which was different before the "F" model). I think I could have made it work with enough fabrication, but I didn't really care for the way it looked right in front of the frame anyway...

... but, if you've gotten rid of the stock airbox, there's plenty of room to bolt into that space, with no modifications or fabrication needed at all. It bolts right to one of the airbox mounting tabs:

Thanks for the vid clip. Where did you buy this horn? I'm sick of being ignored by cages... last Friday was I was honking AND KICKING a car trying to merge into me, he never saw me. Very scary. I had to jam my brakes and hope the guy tailgating me wouldn't run me over.
