Because of one thing and another I have only managed to put about 2000 miles on my GS500 in the last year. Is it worth getting it serviced because its been over a year and would I be fine to leave it until about 4000 miles?

Thank for your help.

I had the same thing happen to me, I let mine go to 4000. And didn't have any problems at all. Its up to you though, if you feel more comfortable having it serviced go for it. :thumb:

Well, normally you get your first service at 1000 then at 5000 (KMs that is).  I wouldnt wait to 4000 for my first service but it would be fine for your second.

That new oil wouldnt be very clean.
