i don't give much respect to metal players. the drums are annoying and all the guitar lines sound the same because they all play something thats musically very simple, but difficult for some to move their fingers that fast. plus i'm just not an angry person. the deftones are as heavy as i get. and i think anything to do with britney spears, not matter if it's done in jest or seriously, just isn't going to be good or funny. it's all been done before.

Apart from sum jazz , metal drumming is one of the hardest things ever ,i happen to be a metal drummer ,and i can say its not easy ,
people that play fast or whatever on guitar ,its called Shreadding and again , its not easy , taste is taste , end off

i didn't say it's easy, i said it's simple. theres a difference. and i know many many metal drummers, it takes a LOT of skill to play that fast, but i find it to be obnoxious after 20 seconds.

that was a damn good cover, but i dunno if it's the best.

The genius is that he took a great song, and made it completely unique and equally great (if not better).  I've never heard another cover that I can say that about.
