This may be a dumb question, but when I've read all the posts on a page, is there any other way to get back up to the top of that page without having to drag the scroll bar back up to the top?  i.e., a "top" or "top of page"  button?

Try pressing the HOME key on your keyboard.

Just click the white area above the bar ... it'll jump the bar to position you've clicked on .

Me personally , i like my scrolling mouse  :icon_mrgreen:

+1 on the Scrolling Mouse ,i got a Infra red one for my laptop ,and i use my bed as a mouse pad :P

just push in the sroll button and move the mouse up or down , just scroll the wheel, or press ctrl-home  :thumb:

Ctrl is unnecessary.  Home works fine in web browsers.
