i need an old seat that'll fit my 91 so i can make a custom solo tail that i can still swap out for the stock seat. if anyone has one lying around, i'll be recovering it so i really just need the seat with some foam in the butt area

I've got a spare one that I bought on ebay for $55 plus shipping just before I got a Corbin seat for my 1991 GS500E.
I had planned on sending it to Sargent to have them recover it but then dropped that plan once I had the Corbin.
The seat is in OK shape, with a cut in the vinyl, but you said you are planning to recover it, as I was planning to do as well.
Let me know if you are interested. I'd sell it for what I have in it, plus shipping to you. I can take photos if you want to see it.
