how much would it cost to get a cheap spray gun and an air compressor?  do air compressor compress air thats around or do they come in tanks that need to be refilled?

You would need a nice spray gun  for auto paint(well more $$ than a sprayer that one might use on their house)
You just need an aircompressor I believe,.

Ohh and another choice is a Ducati Dark Grey

Okay being that you are in NYC, you can hit a pawn shop and get a auto paint sprayer and an air compressor for pretty cheap.  An air compressor pulls air from around it to compress and store in the  tanks as you use it.  You can get air containers that hold compressed air but they run out way too quick.  Hope this helps.

How about painting the body panels, tank and fender green and the wheels yellow and get some John Deere sticker and put them on the tank.

If my 2001 had been a little more scratched-up (or scratched-up at all) when I bought it used, I would have gone KAWASAKI GREEN!

I know it's some of sarcilege to do that on a 'zuki, but it'd been fun.

Go with a gunmetal black, with a glossy flake in it to give it depth. That would be phat... like us kids say.
