I was hoping someone would step up and photoshop my bike to look like that one.

Actually, that's the bike that got me interested in motorcycles. Back in 1985 when I saw the first gsxr I fell in love and this 88 I thought was even better. I've wanted to ride ever since.

Now, I'm doing a fair share of freelance architectural work in addition to my day job. I'm stashing most of the cash away so my wife can quit work very soon but I'm still setting aside a little 'play' money. I was thinking I might actually get a full [or half] fairing and have my bike repainted to match the avatar. Better yet, painted to match this 1984 Barry Sheene xr45 racer:

If I powdercoat my rear wheel now before I install it I might be on my way...or I may always have mismatched wheels. Maybe better stick to white and paint like avatar.

I might have just discovered a vendor that would do it for really cheap since I've recently given him lots of steel fab work...hmm.

Speaking of yellow-JohNLA, since you're working as a bike messenger now and the rainy season is coming soon (all 3 weeks of it) Do you want to borrow my one peice (Nelson-Riggs, I think?) rainsuit? Like I'm ever going to wear it...
You're close to my size so it might fit. save you some money and keep you comfy on the job.
