Anyone got pics and/or ideas for switching up foot pegs?

Jarrett

No need to be rude jarrett.  :nono:

I've got a pair of pegs of an '88 gixxer on mine. I cut the brackets off my hangers and mounted the gixxer brackets on my hangers. I'll have to post pics from home.

I kind of dig the look of alloy pegs. My stock ones are beat.

I also have a set of SV rear pegs I'm going to put on the bike.

Why do get all butt hurt because I said search.  It's not a big deal, and it's really easy to do.  Thanks for taking time to post that pic up.  I appreciate it.

Bubba, that wasn't rude.  the end.

Ha. No ones "butt hurt" freind.

I just think telling some to "Search" is laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame especially when New info/ideas/opinions are always showing up regardless of how many threads you have on the same subject.

Now if anyone searches "laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame" this thread will come up.  :thumb:

Cause if your gonna go through the trouble of posting "search FTW!", why not help a brother out and at least point him to a thread or give an example of what you've done.  no since in being an @$$bag.

What kind of rearset can i put on my bike is a legitimate 1st post.  After 75+ post, you should know how to search.  It was a friendly reminder.  Sorry if you got offended.  My intent was not to offend you.  GSXR rear sets work great.  There is a post up right now of a GSXR rear set install.  You can also use CBR rearsets.  Pablos page has detailed write ups of each install.

Jarret, your first post is exactly what we don't want, some wit posting search/omg it's the wiki in a lame attempt to be be funny & belittling, BTW the question was asked about foot pegs, not rearsets.

Somewhere in this forum I think I read that pegs that are for or designed for a CBR900 will fit. I also want to mount up some round alloy pegs but still searching the site for more info as to what will fit without any major mods needing to be done.

Thats good to know, any chance you can describe what needs to filed or ground off? Is it extensive? I would appreciate this as I am going to order some pegs soon.

When you guys have fitted different pegs, how were the vibrations?
Were they extra crispy bad, or did you not notice any difference?

Being as though I am in the saddle for long periods of time, vibrations are an important consideration before I do any sort of modification...

I modified  RS Warrior passenger pegs to the front of mine.  I really liked the until I scuffed on off the road in a hairpin and busted it off.  They were really comfortable, vibrations weren't bad at all.
Grind the pegs down with asphault!
