I'm licensed. I took the riding test Saturday morning. It was the earliest date I could get. It's crazy how backed up they are. It was great. The lady testing us was pretty lenient. The guy ahead of me missed most of the cones and he passed. I missed one cone and put my foot down once. Then I had to do the quick stop three times because I wasn't going fast enough. The second time she told me "That was ten mph. You need to be going at least twelve". (That's not what my speedometer said, but whatever). I thought  I was doomed at that point anyways, so I backed up against the edge of the parking lot and tore through the course, skidding my rear tire on the stop. I still passed. She actually told us that she would not dock points for skidding on the quick stop.
I enjoyed a nice celebratory ride through the Yakima Canyon.

I finally got my "Learners Permit" the other day, and as per the laws, I have to have it for at least 60 days before I can take the written test again, and the riding test.  But CONGRATS!!!

Good job man. Nothing like being legal

Now, keep in mind when you see the squid how valuable your license is. Losing it means no more playtime on your suzi.

I gots me some insurance and after 10 years I got my permit. 

Now when I wait my 180 days,it'll be winter when I take my test. 

Not gonna do it. 

I'll wait till next spring.
