heres a generic Question that has been running through my head since i joined.    Who  is paying the costs of upkeep and domain name and how much is it??  I know its not an important question nor have i ever seen it asked.  But its just one of those things that have been digging at the back of my brain.   

john owns and pays for the site. He accepts modest donations from members to help defray costs. Also, buying a manual through Amazon assists in supporting the site.

There should also be an option to purchase the updated manual for those of us with 2004+ F models. I'm aware that it's not available on Amazon in the US yet, but hopefully someone will stay on top of this. I've been putting off buying a manual for awhile now, but would jump on it if I knew it would help the site a little.

Hosting is probably his biggest actual cost.  I'm an amateur web designer and for the websites I've done that's always the biggest cost.  I don't know what kind of traffic the site gets but I can't imagine the hosting costs more than $100-$200 annually.  Of course, if the site gets a lot of traffic than it can get expensive quickly.

Time is most likely the biggest "cost" since it takes a lot of hours to construct sites like this.

We had to change hosts about a year ago cuz we kept getting kicked due to so much traffic.... We seem to be doing ok of late!
