Well, I have the opportunity to get a FANTASTIC deal on a gen1 SV650... so I figured I'd list the bike here tentatively.  The SV likely won't last so I'd need to move this quick, if not I'll probably hang onto it until next year.

1998 GS500e 16,000 miles. Runs great, carbs recently cleaned by dealer for/by prior owner, fuel filter installed. Normal wear for a 10 year old bike. PO dropped it (I'm guessing that's why he sold it), clutch lever end broken off and handlebars slightly tweaked, doesn't really bother me so I left it.  Rides handles great.  V&H exhaust with rejet not sure what jets/kit were used by the dealer that did the work.  It never sees rain with me, and I've put about 2000 miles on it.  Brand new rear tire, front has about 2k miles on it (BT-45's).  Had a steering damper but that blew so I yanked it.

I'm right next to Danbury Connecticut in a town called Newtown.  Asking $1,650.

Price is obviously very much negotiable, I'd like to get at least $1400 out of it.  I paid $1500 in February, and another $200 for the rear tire LOL, I don't want to take to much of a beating.

Seems like a good deal to me , I paid 1900 for my orange GS 3 years ago and it needed 2 tires
