Has anyone had any experience with Fieldsheer's Booster pants?  I'm looking for some overpants with armor and abrasion resistance, and these look pretty good.  The thing is, this website http://www.powersports4less.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=WPS-471-7216 has them listed as overpants, while Fieldsheer's site http://www.fieldsheer.com/2007web/web3/product/booster.htm does not.  I'm just wondering if anyone has used them as overpants or otherwise, and your general impression of them.

Thanks,

John

I have a pair.  I use them during the winter.  I recommend them.  Try a pair on before you buy them online.  Mine weren't exactly the right size I was looking for, but they still get the job done.

Thanks for the reply.  I've got a couple more questions.

Did they run big or small?  There's no place around that carries Fieldsheer, so it'd be nice to have some idea about the fit if I decide to order.  I've got big quads and calves, but pretty short legs so pants don't always fit me well.  Is there enough room to have jeans under them?

Thanks,

The long zipper up the side of the leg indicates that they are an overpant.  You can make anything an overpant by just ordering the next size up.

Fieldsheer also has short leg versions available.

When I ordered my Carbolex overpants I ordered a regular medium (size 32) for my size 30 waist, and they're perfect, and I'm skinny.
